Business Challenge

Positioning language existed, but it wasn't yet structured into something a sales team, an ads manager, and a content writer could all pull from consistently. Without a shared architecture, every channel risked drifting into its own version of the pitch.

Approach & Highlights

The architecture starts from a single core positioning statement and branches into audience-specific value hierarchies, each backed by its own proof mechanisms and objection map.

  • Core positioning built around production AI reliability, not generic AI capability claims
  • Separate value hierarchies for enterprise buyers and founder-led buyers
  • Proof mechanisms, supporting claims, and objection mapping built underneath each hierarchy

Outcome

  • A repeatable messaging framework that keeps campaigns consistent across LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and live sales conversations
  • Reduced messaging drift between marketing and sales, since both were now drawing from the same underlying architecture

Lessons learned

  • "Production AI reliability" as a positioning anchor did more work than any feature list. It gave every downstream message a single test to pass.
  • Enterprise and founder-led buyers don't just prefer different tone; they weigh proof differently, which is why the value hierarchies had to genuinely branch rather than just being reworded.

Consultant's note

"The founder-led branch was, honestly, more fun to write: less caveat, more direct. But the discipline of building both branches from the same root positioning statement is what kept the whole system from splintering into two different companies' worth of messaging."
